名模熊黛林出道多時，如今跨足戲劇圈，加上與天王郭富城的緋聞，讓她幾乎是迅速走紅。擁有高挑的身材，大眼睛與清秀的五官，讓她被模特兒老師給被相中。

進入模特兒圈子後，有次她到北京走秀，現場都是頂尖模特兒，只有自己是新人，工作人員給了她一件薄紗衣服，沒有胸貼，也沒有bra就要她上陣，那一刻的她，真的很想哭，但要是拒絕了，可能連車錢都虧，心想「我不願意，一定還有大堆的人願意補上我的位置。」最後只好硬著頭皮上場。

據傳，熊黛林剛出道時，生活困苦，靠著自己努力賺錢，但一個月只能接到兩場演出，月收入少得可憐，出門不敢亂花錢，三餐在家裡自己做。回想剛到上海做模特兒的她，有時為了賺那幾百元人民幣，還得無奈穿露點的衣服，雖然很委屈，不過現在的她，在演藝圈闖出名聲，回想過去的苦都值得。
